Your mentor should also help you come up with a plan or system on how to promote your business. A system that is both scalable and repeatable. If there are weak areas in the plan, they should be able to help you come up with alternatives.

So unless your business is already rocking, it can be a wise move to bring on a mentor. They have been through the process before and can keep you from making the same mistakes they made. This can streamline your business and help you to succeed much quicker than going about it in a trial-by-error manner.
