“Is solopreneurship right for me?”

Don’t waste time wondering. Find out now by taking The Solopreneur Self-Assessment Test.

The Solopreneur Life Membership

I’ve spent the last few years researching and developing a new membership site that teaches people how to do what I do for a living… Basically, how to start and/or adjust your current business so that it can be run Solo (meaning without employees), and that’s also Portable (can be run from anywhere), Scalable (same amount of work for 1 or 100), and produces Passive Income (money while you’re not there).

Additional Automation and Outsourcing Resources

E-Mail Subscriptions and E-Mail Marketing

Mailchimp I’ve used Mailchimp since day one and I’ve had no reason to seek a different service. The user interface couldn’t be easier to use. The reports are very good. Mailchimp is free, up to 2,000 subscribers and has the best delivery rates of them all.

Website

Website/Blog Software: This is a website or blogging service… The days of programming, updating and managing a WordPress site are gone… This platform does all that for you so you can focus on what matter most (content and marketing)… It has built in blogging, podcasting, email autoresponders, product distribution, membership site, etc… Point and click simple… A done for you solution so you don’t have to worry about the technical stuff…

Content Creation

Content Service: Content is king… This is a great Outsourcing service for content creation… When you just don’t have time or need help with content… This is a great platform for hiring writers…ClickBank: One of the most popular and easiest affiliate platforms online… They work with beginners and experts, they pay the highest commissions, and you don’t have to have a website to use them…

Copywriting Software

Copywriting Software: This software is incredible… I wondered can a software really do this… But tech is growing and it really can… You can automate all your salescopy… No more having to look at a blank sales page or having to hire a copywriter for a fortune…

Sales Funnel Software

Sales Funnel Software: This is the software I’ve been talking about that automates your sales funnels… You don’t even need to have a website, it does it all… It has a built in email and CRM, it has everything… And you can use the 14 Day FREE Trial to test it out… Point and click simple… A done for you solution so you don’t have to worry…

Design

99 Designs: This is a great resource for Outsourcing your design work… Logos, websites, graphics, etc… Its a crowd sourcing platform so when you put up a project you get graphic artists submitting multiple designs which is nice for creativity and options to pick what you like…

Hosting

Godaddy: The most popular service for buying domains… And if you decide to sell a website, its one of the easiest for transferring domains…

Outsourcing

Fiverr: This is one of the cheapest and largest outsourcing platforms online… Its a platform that helps you find outsourcers for just about anything… But it does take a little leg work to find good outsourcers on it… Because its cheap, You usually have to buy a few gigs to find a good one… A lot of beginning freelancers start here to build up their portfolios…

Online Marketing Service: This is a newer outsourcing platform for online marketing… It helps you hire outsourcers for online marketing tasks… This is for the more experienced online marketer…

Social-Media Monitoring

Hootsuite; I would be lost without Hootsuite, a social-media dashboard that I use on my laptop and my iPhone. I love Hootsuite’s versatility. I use it to monitor Twitter in multiple ways: streams, lists, and search terms. I use it to monitor multiple Twitter accounts. And of course, I use Hootsuite to post. You can hook up your LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram accounts, too. I use the free version of Hootsuite and it meets my needs just fine.

Affiliate Networks

Creating your own product is extremely time consuming, not to mention the need for customer service… But to sell someone else’s and get a commission for it, well that can be the golden ticket. The best affiliate network is the one that provides products and services that your customers want. In my experience, though, using only one affiliate network isn’t adequate.

ClickBank: One of the most popular and easiest affiliate platforms online… They work with beginners and experts, they pay the highest commissions, and you don’t have to have a website to use them…

Amazon Affiliates: Amazon Affiliates offers a low percentage per sale (4 to 6 percent), but the Amazon program is easy to use, offers a massive number of products, and people trust the platform. I’ve created, grown, and sold websites that were monetized solely with Amazon Associates. If I was allowed only one affiliate network, it would be Amazon.

CJ Affiliate (formerly named Commission Junction): This is a solid network. The user interface is excellent and it’s easy to get up and running quickly.

Shareasale: Shareasale is comparable to CJ Affiliate. The complaint I have with Shareasale is its antiquated website and worst-in-class user interface. Even the search function is maddening.
